Achievements made during the last 3 years in Urology Department

  • Started performing state of art Green Light Laser 120W (LBO) for prostate surgery with latest state of art and has become one of the largest center peforming this surgery in India since Jan.’12.
  • One of the largest centre in North India and the only centre under CHS to perform PCNL (percutaneous nephrolithotmy) surgery for various renal complex stone patients since Jan.’12.
  • Started performing laparoscopic surgery (Transperitoneal/ Retroperitoneal) for various indications in Urology e.g. stones, varicocele, non-functioning kidney, pelviureteric junction obstruction from Feb.’12
  • Started performing state of art RIRS (flexible ureteroscopy) for complex renal pelvicacyceal stones from June 2012 and ha ve become one of the few centres across India to do this procedure.
  • Department has successfully started Renal Transplantation on 25.10.2013
