Surgery

The department of General Surgery is catering to all types of conventional and advance laparoscopic surgical procedures planned as well as emergency including advanced trauma management. It caters to all referred and new cases from adjoining states and complicated cases referred from adjoining states for both emergency as well as planned surgeries. The department is also extending its specialized services in form of Vein Clinic, Breast & Endocrine clinic & GI Minimal Access Surgery Clinic. It is in the process of developing Bariatric Surgical facilities and skill lab.

The department also supports various research activities in the department and in various other departments of the hospital. The department also run various academic activities in form of regular CMEs, conferences and PG teaching classes. The department also boast off very dynamic faculty members and provide a framework and support system for career development of junior faculties and paramedic staff.
