Infrastructure

OPD - There is a separate outdoor block for OPD patients. The Outpatient services are provided daily on the IInd floor of the new OPD block. OPD services include various Special Clinics Services, minor OT & Dressing. 

Emergency and Trauma Care - A world class five hundred bedded new emergency block was inaugurated 07^th Feb.2018 for all emergency patients. Department of Surgery is providing 24x7 care to all surgical emergency patients Total number of emergency major surgeries performed by general surgery team in a year is   approx.3000. 

IPD (Indoor Patient Department) – Department of Surgery has total five wards (Wd.1, Wd.B, Wd.24,25 & 26). Total number of beds-240.

Operation Theatre (OT) – Operation theatres (OT Ist floor and IInd floor) & NEB Emergency OT.

Seminar Room – Department of Surgery has well equipped seminar room for all teaching activities.

Library – Department of Surgery has departmental library which is equipped with recent books and various journals.

Services

Emergency and Trauma Care -
