प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग
प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग विभाग सफदरजंग अस्पताल का सबसे बड़ा विभाग है, जो अस्पताल में भर्ती होने वाली कुल महिलाओं में से 30% से अधिक का इलाज करता है, तथा सुरक्षित मातृत्व, जनसंख्या स्थिरीकरण और जीवन के सभी चरणों में महिलाओं के स्वास्थ्य की सुरक्षा के लिए व्यापक चिकित्सा देखभाल प्रदान करता है। दिल्ली के अलावा, हमारा विभाग राष्ट्रीय राजधानी क्षेत्र के सभी जिलों से आने वाली सभी महिलाओं और पड़ोसी राज्यों से भी रेफर किए गए रोगियों की देखभाल करता है। जैसा कि वर्तमान परिदृश्य में भारत सरकार संस्थागत प्रसव पर ध्यान केंद्रित कर रही है, हमारा अस्पताल भारत के सबसे व्यस्त अस्पतालों में से एक है, जो बड़ी संख्या में उच्च जोखिम वाली प्रसूति रोगियों की देखभाल करता है, जिनकी प्रसव संख्या प्रति वर्ष लगभग 25000 तक पहुँच जाती है।
प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग विभाग महिलाओं के लिए अंत:रोगी और बाह्य रोगी सेवाओं की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला प्रदान करता है जिसमें उच्च जोखिम प्रसूति देखभाल, महिलाओं के लिए नि:संतान सेवाएं, नियमित प्रसूति, प्रजनन अंतःस्त्राविका (एंडोक्राइनोलॉजी), स्त्री रोग संबंधी कैंसरविज्ञान (ऑन्कोलॉजी), मूत्र-स्त्री रोग, भ्रूण चिकित्सा और नियमित स्त्री रोग संबंधी विकारों का व्यापक निदान और उपचार शामिल है।
विभाग में कुल 355 बिस्तर हैं (छह वार्डों में 279 प्रसूति संबंधी बिस्तर और तीन वार्डों में 76 स्त्री रोग संबंधी बिस्तर और एचडीयू/सीसीयू में 15 बिस्तर), दो लेबर रूम और गहन नवजात देखभाल के लिए दो नर्सरी, और बड़ी और छोटी प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग संबंधी शल्यचिकित्सा की सुविधाओं के साथ आपातकालीन और वैकल्पिक ऑपरेशन थिएटर हैं। 12 फरवरी, 2016 को पंद्रह बिस्तरों वाले प्रसूति संबंधी गहन देखभाल इकाई का उद्घाटन किया गया। विभाग में आईवीएफ केंद्र भी है जहां आईसीएसआई सहित सभी नि:संतान सेवाएं, आईयूआई/आईवीएफ किए जा रहे हैं। विभाग में भ्रूण चिकित्सा और आनुवंशिक क्लिनिक की एक उप-विशेषता भी है जो बाह्य रोगी सेवाएं, आनुवंशिक परामर्श और सभी भ्रूण आक्रामक निदान और उपचारात्मक प्रक्रियाएं प्रदान करती है। यह एनईईवी क्लिनिक भी चलाता है जो गर्भधारण पूर्व और विवाह पूर्व परामर्श और जांच सेवाएं प्रदान करता है। विभाग स्त्री रोग एवं प्रसूति रोग में विशेषज्ञ स्टाफ, आधुनिक उपकरणों और निदान एवं देखभाल की उच्च तकनीक से सुसज्जित है। हम जटिल और नवोन्मेषी शल्यचिकित्सा करने और रोगियों को गुणवत्तापूर्ण देखभाल प्रदान करने में सक्षम हैं। हमारा अस्पताल निवासी डॉक्टरों और स्वास्थ्य कार्यकर्ताओं को दिए जाने वाले प्रशिक्षण की गुणवत्ता के लिए भी जाना जाता है। विभाग में अत्याधुनिक दक्ष प्रयोगशाला भारत के विभिन्न हिस्सों से आए स्वास्थ्य पेशेवरों को बुनियादी और आपातकालीन प्रसूति कौशल प्रदान करती है।

बाह्य रोगी सेवाएं नए ओपीडी ब्लॉक की पहली मंजिल पर प्रतिदिन प्रदान की जाती हैं। ओपीडी सेवाओं में एएनसी, स्त्री रोग, नि:संतान क्लिनिक, परिवार नियोजन सेवाएं और विभिन्न विशेष क्लीनिक सेवाएं शामिल हैं।
प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग विभाग का एक अलग कैजुअल्टी (जीआरआर- स्त्री रोग रिकवरी रूम) है जो चौबीसों घंटे आपातकालीन सेवाएं प्रदान करता है।
भर्ती सेवाओं के लिए मातृत्व ब्लॉक मुख्य रिंग रोड पर अस्पताल के गेट नंबर 5 के प्रवेश द्वार पर स्थित है। मातृत्व ब्लॉक के प्रवेश द्वार पर प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग में भर्ती की सुविधा के लिए एक 24x7 पंजीकरण काउंटर प्रदान किया गया है।
यह विभाग 365 बिस्तरों वाला (प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग) है, जिसमें 09 वार्ड हैं, साथ ही 2 लेबर रूम (एलआर) + 02 ऑपरेशन थिएटर (ओटी) + 01 एचडीयू + 01 जीआरआर + 01 आईवीएफ केंद्र हैं।
ओपीडी - (प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग)
- निवारक, प्रोत्साहक और उपचारात्मक स्वास्थ्य सेवाएं प्रदान करना
- दिन:- सोमवार से शनिवार
- पंजीकरण समय:- सुबह 09.00 बजे से 11.30 बजे तक (सोमवार से शुक्रवार और शनिवार को सुबह 09:00 बजे से 10:30 बजे तक)
- ओपीडी समय:- सुबह 09.00 बजे से दोपहर 01.00 बजे तक / जब तक सभी मरीज़ों को देख नहीं लिया जाता।

स्त्री रोग संबंधी सेवाएँ:
- जननांग मार्ग के कैंसर की जांच और प्रबंधन
- विभिन्न स्त्री रोग संबंधी बीमारियों का उपचार
- किशोरावस्था में स्त्री रोग संबंधी समस्याएँ
- नि:संतान , पीआईडी, आरटीआई और एसटीआई का प्रबंधन
- रजोनिवृत्ति के दौरान और बाद की समस्याओं का प्रबंधन
- सुरक्षा क्लिनिक में आरटीआई/एसटीआई से पीड़ित दम्पतियों को परामर्श
परिवार कल्याण सेवाएँ:
- यह इस विभाग का अभिन्न अंग है
- प्रतिदिन सुबह 9 बजे से दोपहर 1 बजे तक ओपीडी सेवाएँ
- परामर्श और गर्भनिरोधक सेवाओं का प्रावधान
- लेप्रोस्कोपिक, मिनिलैप ट्यूबल बंधाव (लिगेशन) और प्रसवोत्तर बंधाव (लिगेशन) प्रतिदिन दैनिक देखभाल के आधार पर किए जाते हैं।
- पुरुष परिवार कल्याण क्लिनिक में नॉन-स्केलपेल वेसेक्टॉमी (एनएसवी) सेवाओं का प्रावधान है जो प्रतिदिन दैनिक देखभाल के आधार पर प्रदान की जाती हैं।

आंतरिक सेवाएँ
- प्रसूति एवं स्त्री रोग वार्ड में आंतरिक सेवाएं प्रदान की जाती हैं|
- नियमित और विशेष प्रसवपूर्व और प्रसवोत्तर देखभाल प्रदान की जाती है|
- प्रत्येक प्रसूति वार्ड में भ्रूण की निगरानी के लिए एक सीटीजी मशीन है|
- प्रसव दो लेबर रूम में किए जाते हैं|
- लेबर रूम चौबीसों घंटे उपलब्ध एक अल्ट्रासाउंड मशीन और एक सीटीजी मशीन से सुसज्जित है|
- भर्ती-रोगी मूल्यांकन के लिए अल्ट्रासाउंड डॉपलर मशीन
- स्त्री रोग वार्ड में स्त्री रोग संबंधी बीमारियों वाले रोगियों का प्रबंधन किया जाता है|
- शल्यचिकित्सा के बाद और उच्च जोखिम वाले मामलों में रोगियों को पोस्ट ऑपरेटिव वार्ड (वर्तमान में वार्ड 2 में) में रखा जाता है|
