Regular CMEs, workshops, seminars, tumour board meetings and cancer awareness programmes are organized throughout the year.

Training is provided for MBBS students, postgraduate residents, senior residents, oncology trainees, nursing staff and observers/fellows.

Daily academic activities include seminars, journal clubs, case presentations, mortality meetings and hands-on training in chemotherapy, bone marrow transplantation and advanced oncology practices.

The department has established advanced cancer treatment facilities including a dedicated Medical Oncology Block, Day Care Chemotherapy Centre, Bone Marrow Transplant Programme and participation in international multicentric clinical trials.
